Your ZOT Account reflects charges billed to you, as well as credits and payments made to the account. Generally, balances are due by the 15th of every month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, your balance will be due on the next business day.

Before you may use your ZOT Account Online it is imperative that you:
- activate your UCInetID; and
- review your messages in your UCI mailbox; and
- maintain your mailbox and prevent it from getting full. (If your mailbox is full, important messages, such as ZOTBills, cannot be delivered.)
You may pay your ZOT Account
- in person by cash or check at the Central Cashier.
- by mail to the Central Cashier.
- with an electronic check through your ZOT Account

Amount Due / Account Balance
There are also instances where a charge may be placed on your account with a future due date, such as Registration Fees or Housing Charges. This is likely the explanation if your “Amount Due” is less than your “Account Balance”.
Late Fees & Financial Holds
Your ZOT Account will incur late fees if the amount due or balance is not paid by the due date. A Financial Hold will also be placed on your account if a balance is not paid. Financial Holds can result in a denial of services including registration for future enrollment, processing of transcript requests, and issuance of your diploma. Holds that remain on your record at the fee payment deadline can result in your classes being dropped.
Unpaid balances may be written off and referred to an outside agency for collections.
